Steamesh grades are formulated from specially treated high viscosity index, heavy viscosity base stocks having enhanced lubricating properties and thermal stability. They have excellent oiliness and film strength characteristics, maximum resistance to washing effect of moisture and excellent load carrying ability.

The straight mineral grades Steamesh - 460, 680, 1000, and 1500 are eminently suitable for cylinder lubrication of Steam Engine using highly super heated steam. These are also used in oil tempering and wire drawing applications with satisfactory results.
